Hi, I’m Simonette
Welcome to my website, where I share a collection of recipes, which are mainly led by seasonal ingredients to nourish our bodies (but also include some not-so-healthy recipes because I believe that balance is key). Where I share what has helped me so that it can hopefully help you too. Where I offer coaching so that you can get the support to heal or just to take your healthy lifestyle to the next level.
After experiencing a burnout, I realised how easy it is for your health to suffer. I thought that my work needed to come first and that by pushing forward and ignoring my body, I would learn to deal with the stress better and become more resilient.
But it turns out that your body has a limit, and I pushed way past mine. It took a long time to build my health back up and get out of the panicky fight-or-flight state. I decided to take a course on health and nutrition coaching so that I could learn how to heal myself, and then also help others who have experienced something similar.
Food and lifestyle are more important than we realise. So that is my goal, to create a space where the foods I eat nourish me, where my lifestyle is creative and exciting (but not overly stressful), where there is balance and peaceful rest.

My Approach to my Health coaching
My approach to health coaching is personalised to you. Each person is unique, and their bodies react to different things in different ways. That is why I can’t put a blanket approach to what I do, I need to know about specifically what does and does not work for you.
I will take the time to properly understand your current lifestyle and what you want to change (but also what you want to stay the same).
To me, the most important thing is helping you become the best version of yourself through healthy food and lifestyle choices.
It’s holistic
I look at your lifestyle as a whole. What you eat, how you keep active, what your work situation is, and what your health currently looks like. When you look at each of these components as a whole and how they all work together, things become a lot more clear of where your priorities will lie.
It’s Realistic
We work on a clear goal and assess together how to reach it. I want to know what you do enjoy doing and how much time you have for cooking and exercising. This way, you are more likely to reach your goals instead of setting unachievable goals that leave you feeling discouraged.
